ANZAC Day 2009
A very memorable day with a 6-8ft 12 second period East swell coming for the day. No day off work because ANZAC day fell on a Saturday but we were well compensated with quality waves. It was the day of days at Sharkies for wave quality, but unfortunately the photos from the day are not that great as I was shooting into bright light and the water was an opaque yellowy brown colour…
There were great waves going at Headies too. My first shoot there around midday. The wind had changed and it was a bit choppy plus the water colour was bad with heaps of weed. Great waves.
