The swell had backed off a bit since yesterday but so had the winds. The early session saw some OK clean walls wrapping down the point – as there was a touch more east in the swell. There were plenty of guys in the water and before it turned off late morning there were plenty of waves. Around midday the wind started to howl from the south getting up to 30 knots plus through the afternoon but there were still plenty of guys keen for their share. There won’t be much left for the weekend.
