Red sky morning….

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009 | Uncategorized

A freaky morning, especially for those who were out and about early… and there were not many..

The sky was red. These photos have not been altered. It had a bit of an end of the world feel to it.

There were some neat little waves going, but the grit on your teeth from the dust was a bit much.

Things cleared up later on.. the good thing about all this is that the low pressure system that brought us the wind that brought us the dust is heading off to the south tasman.. so there is a chance of some very significant swell coming this weekend and early next week…

Meanwhile any outdoors activity is only for the super keen with conditions this windy.
