Fate and Fortune

There is nothing quite like the joy of an unexpected swell. Unfortunately soon after this above shot was taken, the shutter jammed on my camera – putting it out of action until i can get it fixed – so there are only a couple of water shots from what was a pretty amazing day…

Three to four foot of swell came from the E/NE and lit up the spots that it does. A little bit unseasonal for this time of year and bringing with it some cooler water. Headies was getting a good serve of it at sunrise and there were plenty of body boarders out keen for their share.

There were heaps of barrels to be had for those willing to pull in. In fact there were so many barrels I have had to put two galleries on the day’s session page. Check it out – all images available for sale; please contact me… john@devocean.com.au

As it should be…

The sets were still pushing through with barrels to be had… along with plenty of smaller inside ones that were shaping up nicely for the keen…
