Things have been pretty quiet on the swell front.. with it approaching 3 weeks since there has been any significant swell. For the keen early crew who can’t help but get out and about early, there have been some spectacular firey sunrises….

The first week or two of September was a feast of waves. We had an “all you can eat” buffet of different conditions that kept everyone stoked. Unfortunately now spring conditions are upon us with 1-2ft east swell and onshore winds. The first week of it was OK as the memory of that solid week of swell was fresh but now it is stretching to two weeks…
You can only go so long without scratching that itch…
Hopefully some of the images here on the new Devocean website will keep you satisfied. Its an online record of the significant swell events and some of the great waves ridden….
